• First National Bank of Albany, Oregon

  A long lived bank that lasted from 1883 through 1935.
  It issued brown backs, red seals, blue seals and small sized notes.
  This bank isn't hard to find in a blue seal but a red seal is nice.
  There is a #1 serial numbered note known on this bank.
  

• Linn County National Bank of Albany, Oregon

  Lasting a mere three years between 1890 and 1893.
  This bank only issued $10 and $20 brown backs only one of which is known today.
  

• First National Bank of Arlington, Oregon

  Hummed along for seven years between 1887 and 1894 issuing only $5.00 brown backs.
  This bank is currently unknown to exist.
  

• Arlington National Bank of Arlington, Oregon

  A long lived bank that made it from 1888 to 1933 before succumbing.
  The Arlington NB issued only large sized notes in brown back and blue seal varieties.
  There are several notes known on this bank
  

• United States National Bank of Ashland, Oregon

  This bank operated for 5 years before being taken over by the FNB of Ashland.
  Given it's short life it's not surprising that there are no known surviving notes.
  This bank would be a nice find since it's required for anyone collecting "Forbidden Titles"
  These are notes that contain the words "United States" which was forbidden by an act of congress
  Banks with United States in their title prior to the new law were grandfathered allowing them to be
  collected today.
  

• First National Bank of Astoria, Oregon

  Chartered in 1886 and lasting the duration until 1933.
  FNB Astoria issued brown backs, red seals, blue seals and small sized notes.
  This is a great little town on the shores of the Columbia river.
  It was named after John Jacob Astor who had a thriving fur trading empire there.
